Heart-Centered Healing and Music for Creative & Soulful Living!
Meet Giselle Felicia Vivian, BM CHT
Blessings!  Thanks for taking time to know a little more about me...

I have been called to music, healing and spirituality ever since my youth. As a modern renaissance woman, my professional life has always interwoven my passions for creative expression, performance and wellness enhancement, conscious living and spiritual growth.  Originally a native of Southern California, I have spent the last 20+ years in New Mexico, with Albuquerque as my current home-base.

Healer, Coach & Hypnotherapist
My professional journey with my healing and music ministry began with my graduation from Cal State University, Northridge, with a Bachelors of Music and Music Therapy Certificate in the late, 1980's.  My clinical internship via an approved clinical site by the National Association for Music Therapy, was conducted at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio,  and included work in:  Pediatrics, Ambulatory Surgery, Adult/Adolescent Psych, Oncology, and Pain Management.

During my college years, I was also drawn to the study of other healing arts including, Hypnotherapy and Imagery, and various Energy Healing practices.  I graduated from programs with the American Institute of Hypnosis, and then, The Hypnosis Motivation Institute, where I received a Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy after completion of the 1000 hour residence training and internship program back in 2001.  These studies also included Handwriting Analysis, Dream Therapy, Creative Journaling, Imagery,  NLP and Past Life Regression Therapy.  Since then, I have received specializations from the American Hypnosis Association in:
  • Immune Disorders Hypnosis
  • Hypnosis and Weight Release
  • Hypnosis and Pain Management
  • Pre/Post Surgery Hypnosis
  • Sports Hypnosis
  • Hypnosis & ADD
Discovering the power we have to shape our beliefs and transform the limitations of undesirable negative programming has been a passion.   Energy healing studies and training have included: 3rd Level Reiki (Usui lineage), Laho-CHI, Creation Energy, Angel Healing, Pranic Healing, Donna Eden's Energy Medicine, Bio-kinesiology with the Topping Institute, EFT ~Emotional Freedom Technique and more recently, The Emotion Code and The Body Code, which I hope to become certified in the coming years.   Needless to say, I have a hunger for learning and finding tools to empower those seeking healing at depth!  The goal is to educate and empower with practices that create a supportive lifestyle.

My unfolding ministry as a non-denominational Universal Life Minister began in the 1990's and has been devoted to the facilitation of healing and the use of creative expression, primarily music, as a personal and spiritual resource.  A love of prayer has served others along the journey from California to New Mexico.  I believe we are all called to the Divine Awakening in unique ways and all paths share the same love of the Divine.  Over the years, some have come to seek my clinical and professional skills, keeping their healing priorities more mainstream and clinical.  Others have chosen to work within an acknowledgement of the Divine as the source of all life and healing transformations.  No matter your beliefs...only a sincere desire to learn, grow, transform and overcome a limitation is needed.  I will follow your lead and respect your beliefs.

My traditional spiritual service has included  being Youth and Family Ministry Director for Unity Spiritual Center of Albuquerque, NM for 3 years, chaplaincy, and small group facilitation and guest speaking, including officiating the 2015 Christmas Services and contributing meditations and material for music services and Ash Wednesday.  My eight months of service as  Church Administrator, while USCABQ was seeking a new minister, was an unplanned Divine Appointment and opportunity that has added a new dimension to my ministerial resume' in operations and oversight.

Mom (voice) and Dad(composition/piano) met in the Music Conservatory in Lima, Peru before coming to the states. My love of music was in my genes.  It began with childlike songs at age 4, then piano lessons at age five.   Eventually, Viola studies followed, junior high through college.  True to my passions, after my return from my Music Therapy internship, I continued to develop my holistic skills AND my professional career as a freelance  violist.  I ended up with the opportunity to add orchestra management on the resume'. I managed the YMF Debut Orchestra, LA Phil Institute, and Disney's Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra before my move to NM. Sometimes life blesses us with opportunities that allow us to express all that we possess. Instead of believing in "either or", we take a leap and claim the abundance of "And".  I hope you will too!

Since my arrival in NM, my non-ministerial activities have included playing in a few of the local community orchestras , a string quartet and freelancing on a few studio projects.  I have also worked with some musicians boosting their performance with coaching and hypnotherapy.

I served as guest musician and music minister at the former Divine Life Center, and also, as a guest musician  at USCABQ offering original and traditional/contemporary music.  My other ministry musical offerings in the state have included:  viola, vocals and percussion for Sunday  and Special Services, and presenting some original songs to support the theme or occasion.  Also, I provided music for USCABQ's Good Friday Service, including an original song and a sound bath meditation, in addition to some other traditional and contemporary favorites.   I  was a member of the former kirtan ensembles ~ CHANTS4UNITY, and  Chanting In Unity.  In spring 2019,  director of "Sacred Chants" for  3 months before deciding to return my full attention to One Heartbeat's,  "One Voice, One Heart ~ Devotional Chanting and Singing" programs.  My love for chanting came out of my music seva at the Siddha Yoga Center while in CA. This active musical meditation has roots in various denominations and promotes inner peace and well-being, in addition to other blessings for the practitioner.

My activities as a clinically trained-music therapist, specializing in rhythm-based music-making events as One Heartbeat Rhythm Circles, continues to offer private and public events and special event facilitation.  You can learn more here about the power of drumming to unite community, empower teams and individuals, and enhance wellness and spiritual practice.

Now, new adventures in inspired service and self-expression are unfolding with a renewed focus on sharing my musical gifts as tools for healing, celebration, artistic empowerment, and community-building with audiences far and wide.  I am finally finalizing recordings for distribution, including songs and resources for others that can support their music ministries, programs, or personal musical and spiritual creative self-expression.

Grateful for the Journey
My time in the Land of Enchantment has blessed me with marriage and a wisdom that comes with age and experience.   The journey of the self continues, with my willingness to allow Divine Mystery to guide and bless my path.  Thank you for taking time to get to know me and my unfolding services. I am here to serve those who are ready to claim the healing at depth and transformation that gives birth to a thriving and abundant life. Don't hesitate to reach out!  No matter what has happened before, the healing and renewing Spirit of the Divine is at hand.  May you know how loved and valued you are, and find hope when needed.  I wish you well on your journey and look forward to meeting you!

Blessings and best wishes,
Rev. Giselle Felicia Vivian
